A vibrant crochet blanket featuring twelve fantasy and nature-inspired silhouette squares—dragon, phoenix, horse, and more—perfect for geeky crafters and cosy décor lovers.
The pattern is written in US English terms and assumes knowledge of the basic crochet stitches (slip stitch, chain, single crochet, double crochet). The pattern itself is provided in both written and chart format.
Crochet Terms: US
Yarn: Any (the pictured example is made with Stylecraft Special DK on a 4 mm hook and the final piece is 107 cm x 138 cm / 42 in x 54 in)
Quantity of Yarn: 1 skeins of the each temperature colour (10) | 7 skeins of the contrast colour (black).
Hook Size: appropriate for the yarn chosen
Size: Each square is 63 stitches across (plus 2 for the joining and ending stitches) and 63 rows tall.
The blanket done as a whole is 205 stitches across (plus 2 for the joining and ending stitches) and 273 rows tall.
Skill: Intermediate
Additional Materials: A hook 1 size down from your main hook to create the border.
